Now Hosted on GitHub

After a rather ridiculous amount of procrastination, and a bit of prodding, I bit the bullet and migrated my source code repository from Subversion to git, now hosted on GitHub. With my entire revision history intact, which I'm stoked about.

I can already hear the "I told you so" comments, so let me just say "You were right."  In my defense, I made a conscious decision to put off the migration to git because I've learned over the years that changing tools in the middle of a project can be a huge time sink.

That didn't happen in this case.  And to be honest, I LOVE GitHub.  And I'm sorry I took so long to switch.

I can honestly say I've achieved a level of comfort with git in just days, rather than weeks, that I didn't think was possible.  My initial foray into git was an attempt to set up hosting it on my web hosting site, and I think that was what put me off.  GitHub makes it easy, and that has made all the difference.
